Over the past 25 years, our company has witnessed many systemic changes to our industry, nation, and world. Today, in the wake of more tragic deaths due to violence and racism, we recognize our industry and nation, and perhaps the world, stand at the precipice of another systemic change—one that has been in the making for hundreds, if not thousands, of years.

While we cannot truly understand the hurt, frustration, or outright anger black Americans feel in response to the heartbreaking deaths that have shaken the country in recent weeks, we want to do our best to empathize, learn, and contribute to a better, more just future.

To that end, our team will continue to pray for government leaders as they chart paths toward more equitable and accountable institutions, train loan officers and lenders on the importance of understanding and serving every borrower, and invest in the capacity of young leaders to make the dream of homeownership obtainable in every community.
